A great place to

stay while seeing

Bar Harbor &

Acadia National

 Park!

Come to Bar Harbor,  the first place to see the Sun in the United States.  Mount Desert Island's (MDI) unique topography provides a mixture of natural woodlands, waterways and mountains. Experience activities ranging from golf, fishing, birding, biking, boating to mountain climbing all without leaving MDI.  Take a mail boat to the Cranberry Islands. Climb the "Bubbles" and then reward yourself with high tea at Jordon Pond House where giant popovers and strawberry jam are made using the same recipe originally used in the late 1800's.

This lovely year-round log home is located on ten wooded acres, with a running brook, and a pond. A family of beavers can frequently be spotted in the pond at sundown. The large wrap-around deck is wonderful for sunning, reading, outdoor dining or star-gazing. First floor: kitchen, dining area, "great" room with sliding doors to the deck, bedroom and a full bath. Second floor: two bedrooms and a full bath w/Japanese-style soaking tub. Winter, Summer, Spring or Fall, A perfect location for families!
